I have a long history as a hobbyist, academic, and professional background in computer science, and I've enjoyed training coworkers to help them learn technology whenever possible. My professional experience also provides me with real world applications of concepts that are studied in computer science coursework that I can use to make ideas relatable to students. When I'm not programming or teaching programming, I like to camp and do outdoor activities.
